If your date of birth falls after 1st october 1994 in general category or 1st october 1989 in sc/st category then you are eligible for jee advance and also before that you need to clear jee mains

As you say Class 10, it is of no matter in writing JEE. The year of clearing Class 12 is what is considered while applying for JEE Mains. The qualified JEE Mains candidates can apply for JEE Advanced. JEE is conducted twice every year now. So you can apply for January as well as April session. This year, the eligibility was passing out Class 12 after June 2017. If you passed after June 2019, you can apply for JEE Mains 2021.

And if you qualify in Mains, and should not have accepted seat in any IITs you can attend JEE Advanced.
