Yes, you can start your preparation for UPSC Civil Services . But before preparation, you must know the eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. To appear for the exam, you must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute by the Government of India.

If you just want to prepare for IAS exam. So yes you can prepare but to become an IAS or appear for UPSC Exams The basic eligibility is

- Graduation from any recognized University with 50% in any stream

- Minimum lower age of 21 years.
