i have passed 12 th in 2019 and I took admission in a different college. Now I have withdrawed my admissions from there and I want to pursue Ba pol + history in DU this year. Am I eligible?
Yes, if you're withdrawn your admission from previous college, you're eligible for BA in University of delhi.
University of delhi has some university guidelines and considered them as eligibility criteria for admission.
In detail, Du has around 80 colleges and each college releases it's cut off every year on the basis of merit list of students' class 12th board exam.
For the art courses like BA pol science, you must have minimum 45% aggregate. Also, it depends on your category. There is some reservation for minority students in Du.
University of delhi calculate your best 4 marks when you want to pursue Arts or commerce course, no matter in which year you have passed your intermediate . Soon, the pandemic ends, Du will start releasing its cut offs for this year.
I really hope you get a good college.
All the best for the future ahead.
Hey!
You cannot get admission in DU with lateral entry scheme as the college doesn't offer. However, you can get admission in 1st year of BA in political science/history and can continue with that as there is no upper age limit bar. Also, you must have atleast 55% in 10+2 in English and other core subjects. To know more, kindly visit our page at
