I have passed 12th exam in 2018 with 70% marks. can i eligible for JEE mains?

Yeah definitely you are eligible for writing the JEE mains since writing the JEE mains has not any percentage eligibility so definitely you can write the JEE mains , 2019 of both the session. But yaah having 70% in Class 12th will not able to make you to enter into the elite institutes like IIT / NIT / IIIT / CFTI but yaah on the basis of your marks in JEE mains you can be able to take the admission in any good private institution.

Actually, you should have secure at least 75% marks in the 12th class board exam, or be in top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards. Then only you can eligible to get NIT colleges and to appear in the jee advanced exam. And for other colleges below or equivalent to these percentages.

The eligibility criteria of JEE Mains is;
1. Candidates need to scored minimum 75% of marks in class 12th board exam ( for general category ).
2. For sc/st category candidates, they need to scored minimum 65% of marks in class 12th board exam.
If you belongs from second category then you are eligible.
