If you had written JEE mains and Advanced 2020, and if you skip a year in between and again if you wanted to attempt JEE mains, you are eligible to apply and write the examm but you can't write JEE advanced 2022. Because after completing 12th standard any candidate can actually write JEE mains for consecutive 3 years and 6 times that is per year 2 exams but you can attempt Advanced for only 2 consecutive year's after 12th that is 2020 and 2021. Hence you can take a break in between for mains, you are eligible to give JEE mains of the next year that is 2022. But you can't write JEE advanced by taking a break.
Hope this answer helps you.
All the best!!!!!
Hello Aspirant,
As per the latest number of attempts allowed for JEE-Advance there are only two attempts allowed for JEE-Advance for two consecutive years. It means that if you have passed your class 12th in 2020 then you you are eligible only for JEE-advance 2020 and JEE-Advance 2021 and it does not matter whether you will be appearing for this year or not, you cannot give JEE-Advance 2022.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
