I have passed class 12th, can i apply for FRI exam without graduation?
Hello Jiya,
According to my research, Forest Research Institution provides a MSc course, for which you have to complete your graduation. Without completing graduation, you cannot apply on FRI. Also, the admission process is based on the score of the entrance exam conducted by FRI. Preferably, you need to complete graduation in B.E /B.Tech.
I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but with the qualification of just 10+2 you are not eligible for FRI exam i.e Forest Research Institute as it offers post graduate courses , so it is mandatory for you to be a graduate.
FRI conducts entrance examination for masters programmes offered by the institute. On the basis score in FRI Entrance Exam, you are shortlisted for admission in courses such as MSc Forestry, MSc Wood Science & Technology, MSc Environment Management and MSc Cellulose & Paper Technology.
So it is clear that FRI is for postgraduate courses , to be eligible for FRI exam you need to get at least 50% aggregate marks at the BSc level if you belong to General category and 45% if you belong to SC/ST category. So just after 10+2 you are not eligible for FRI exam i.e Forest Research Institute. You need to be a graduate.
Thankyou
