The passing year to be filled in the form would be the year you graduated from high school, that is, the date you graduated your 12th grade. If you are in 12th grade just fill the form saying you are doing your 12th grade. A point to note is you don't have to worry if you have a year drop or something because that doesn't matter.

2019 is a passing year as you applied for improvement.If you not apply for improvement than you passing year is 2018.

Sir i appeared for improvement in 2019 , so according to it i had my best score in 2019 , 80% in 12th than am i eligible for jee mains 2021...since year of passing out will be 2019 ( improvement year)
