There's nothing you need to worry about regarding your 12th marks as you getting 65% in 12th will be of no problem in your admission in NIT as you qualify the minimum eligibility criteria of 50% required in 12th. Other than that following are the eligibility criteria for getting admission in NIT :-
The eligibility criteria for getting admission in NIT is
Required Criteria based on Class 12th / Equivalent qualifying Examination
B.E/B.Tech
1-Language, 2-Physics, 3-Mathematics,
4-Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), 5-Any other subject.
With at least 45% marks (40 % in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in each of the subjects.
B.Arch./B.Planning
Mathematics subject along with 50% marks in total including five subjects.
Admission to undergraduate engineering/architecture programs for candidates from India at NITs shall include the performance in the class 12 exam/other Qualifying Examination and score in the Joint Entrance Examination,JEE(Main). Counselling for admission to NIT will start immediately after the declaration of JEE (Main) result. If you have cleared the exam with the required percentile you are eligible for counselling.

Percentage in +2 but to get NITS you should have good rank in JEE mains as well
