Hello,

It is very unfortunate that you are deciding to switch careers at this stage, after you successfully got admission in Government College for which thousands of students take drop.

Still if you wish to switch your career which otherwise is not advisable and opt engineering then I would like to tell you that you don't fulfil the eligibility criteria for Pursuing the engineering course .

Eligibility criteria is as following-

B.E/B.Tech : He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).

B.Arch : He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

B.Plan : He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.

Kindly, develop your interest in your medical course and continue it as you don't fulfil the eligibility criteria for pursuing Engineering.

I hope you find the answer helpful

Thank you.

Manoj Kumar Well first i would ask you to take enough time to think about your decision, because changing fields even after attaining success in a field seems puzzling.
So first contemplate about your decision and only if you don't have any slightest doubts, only then take this big step.

Well you can prepare for the engineering exams if you fulfill the academic criteria.
Also you will be asked to pay Bond money for leaving seat of a Government Medical college, which generally is in lakhs.
