see it depends on the particular college norms and regulations for admission in economics honos. but most of the college wants students must have studied mathematics as a subject in 10+2 course. for delhi university to admission in b.a in economics you need to appear in dujat exam, also the eligibility criteria is
An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects.
The applicants must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying exam for admission to B.A. (Honours) in Economics.
however you may go for christ university where b,a economics course has no compulsory mathematics requirement,
eligibility criteria for b.a economics is applicants must secure minimum 55% at the 10+2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognized Board in India.
