The validity of the OBC certificate Non Creamy Layer is usually for one year. OBC certificate has to be renewed each year.

For your Second question No you do not need new Character certificate. The certificate that you got in when you passed your 12th standard will be asked take admission in your further studies.

For your 3rd questions Yes You will need yo attach the affidavit is you had any errors in your previous year documents.
