For calculating your best four you should keep in mind the following things:

• There must be one language included in the best of four (core/ elective/ functional)
• The candidates need to include the subject in best of four in which the admission is being sought.
• The candidates must include any two other academic/ elective subject as per List A (given on this page). Disadvantage of 2.5% will be imposed for not doing so.

Since you belong to science stream there will be a deduction of 2-5% in your percentile varing from college to college. You have to include english necessarily as one of your language subject. Also, if you chose to pursue BA Economics Hons then you'll also have to include economics and maths else there will deduction of some percentage. Maths is mandatory and has to be included in your best 4 if you chose to pursue BA Economics Hons.

Rest you may chose whichever subject you feel have the highest marks.

For DU admission calculation of best of four percentage is very important. You can give any 4 subjects in which you have highest percentage provided that it should definitely include the subject that you wish to do B.Sc. in, one language subject and any two elective subjects according to the table A. please refer to the following careers360 link to know more about the table A.
