If you have appeared for NEET last year, you know how to be better at this than many of the Candidates who are appearing for NEET for the first time and you have an advantage in this over them. You should use it to your advantage of your mental strength. Motor or Cognitive learning are impaired when there is mental fatigue. So the rule is to keep yourself stress free. Now we know that it is always easier than done but did you know that brain is one of the organs that can be trained easily according to our instructions? You need selective blocking. You need to block anything that triggers your stress. For example, if your friends keep bragging about the no.of times they have revised the portion ot the no.of times they have completed the mock tests, you need to block such things from getting into your brain. You need to remember that everyone's grasping is different. May be they need to revise more than you do because you are good at remembering things. This is just an example of how you can do it. Another is Marshmellow method. Promise yourself that every day of you not allowing stress to rule you, you will gift yourself with something that you like an hour of a video game or small candy of your choice. But the rule is you shouldn't feel stressed. It might sound funny but it works. These have been proven tricks. And another rule is to believe in yourself no matter what happens because your family did believe in you and let go off an academic year plans they had for you. This is what you need to respect and not let stress take the better of you.
Now regarding the cut offs, they keep changing every year.Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. The cut offs depend on the State you belong to. States like Delhi, Bihar, Haryana and UP have higher cut offs when compared to cut offs of States like Karnataka, AP, etc. But in whole, you will need nothing less than 500 for a seat under SC Category in any State Counselling and that is an easy score if you just concentrate and study stress free.
