I have put my religion wrongly as bc in tancet application 2021 but my original religion is oc and I have contacted anna university they said that at time of counselling one email I'd will be there you can update it ,is it possible?

This is a complete different case. You have already filled wrong details and now you can't do anything else rather than contacting the authorities regarding your mistake.
As you have already talked to them and they have assured you so I guess there won't be problem with this now. They are in this business from years and if they are saying this it might be true.
Don't worry you will get the option of correction at the time of counselling.
