Firstly , candidates who want to appear in JEE advanced 2019, must clear JEE main 2019 and secure a position among Top 2,24,000 candidates including all the categories.

Academic qualifications for JEE advanced 2019are:

-Minimum marks requires to be eligible for JEE advanced 2019 is 75% in class 12 for general category, and there is 10% reservation for sc/St and pwd categories, so they need aggregate of minimum 65% marks.

- or, candidates should be within category wise top 20 percentile in class 12.

- score secured in following 5 subjects will be considered for fulfilling top 20 percentile:

1. Physics

2. Chemistry

3. maths

4. English/Hindi (Language)

5. Any subject other than above four with highest marks.
