I have registered with icai for ca founadtion Nov. 2018 is it mandate to write it in nov. Can I write it in May 2019 would it effect anythin

No it is not mandatory to write ca foundation in nov 2018 you can skip the exam and write it in may 2019.But it is adviasable not to skip your even if you are not prepared for it as you get idea about the exam. All the best.
