If you are in top 20 percentile ( boards)than you are eligible for nit .

But

With this percentage score it is not possible to get admission in nit

And also with this percentage I think you are not able the cross percentile criteria also.

Now all you can do is take admission in those colleges which have the 50 or less than 50 like 45 % criteria ( private colleges some of them ).

Otherwise you should take drop and give improvement and jee in next year .

Sorry, you are not eligible for any colleges that accepts JEE MAINS result as you have scored only 50% in 12th. To be eligible for colleges that accepts JEE MAINS you must have atleast 75% or above for general category and 65% for SC/ST category.

I would suggest you to look for other colleges or entrance exams.
