I have score in an average of 58% in both 10th and 12th. I am hoping to join for computer science in NIST Berhampur. Will get the campus according to that or depending to the semester exam.

Dear Swapni ,
I would happy to say that im also ex-student of National Institute of Science and technology batch 2015-2019 the reality was if you had 58 percentage in 12th then campus placements is very crucial for you because most of 80% companies criteria is 12th score more then 60% then only you will able to attended the campus drive and semester exams result mostly not effect on your campus placements and off campus drive also mostly similar criteria.

Sir, can suggest any courses according to my percentage. But due to family condition I can look in Berhampur only. So can you please suggest me sir.

First of all basically I'm also belongs to barhampur and engineering is highly scope for job prospects but now days every IT and ITS companies are mostly focous on 12 marks so it will difficult to get job in information technology but if you have good knowledge in computer science like programming,data structure , algorithm and computer architect or you have intrested in this part then you can join NISTand they are good for teaching and you also gain lots of things from their but you facing problem at the time of placement due to your 10th and 12th marks .
But after complete your btech you can try any of industry as per your interest.
So as my per suggest you must go through only engineering because jobs scopes is very high only in this course
