Hii Priya,

Hope you are doing well.

In general, a score ranging from 230 - 240 is equivalent to 99 percentile in NMAT. 95 percentile: Candidates who have scaled scores in the range of 210 - 215 usually get a 95+ percentile score in NMAT. 90 percentile: A score above 200 is generally required for a 90+ percentile in NMAT .

Anything above 200+ could make you to any of the B-schools of India, but lower than that cannot secure you B-schools.

For your score comparison to rank and for admission to NMIMS, refer to the link below:

NMIMS University is best known for its MBA programmes but offers a range of other professional courses in different streams including Engineering and Pharmacy.

For Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai admission to the M.B.A course candidates have to appear for the NMAT entrance examination. Further candidates have to appear for a psychometric test or written analytic test followed by a personal interview conducted by the institute. Candidates are shortlisted based on all their performance in the above-mentioned tests and those who are fulfilling all the admission criteria are offered admission.

B.B.A--> Passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

B.Com Hons-->Minimum 24 credits for candidates from IB board. Age Limit - 25 years

MBA Integrated--> Passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 60% marks.

Must have good communication skills and a basic understanding of their respective family-run business.

So, yes if you have the above eligibility criteria and a safe NMAT score, you are eligible for admission to NMIMS.

hopefully this will be helpful.

BEST wishes.

NMAT Cut off 2021 is a minimum score required by the students in order to appear for the selection rounds (WAT/ GD/ PI). After the declaration of the NMAT by GMAC result, the NMAT cut off 2021 will be declared by the NMIMS and other NMAT participating institutes. NMAT 2021 Cut off scores range between 150 to 200 and apart from sectional cutoffs, overall NMIMS NMAT by GMAC Cutoff will also be given preference at several institutes.

To get admission into NMIMS Bangalore, candidates have to require a normalized score of 200 (91.1%) whereas, for NMIMS Mumbai, a score of 208 (94%) is needed. The NMAT Cutoff 2021 will be released either as scores or as a percentile depending upon the NMIMS campus and institute.

Certainly at 163 you don't have great chance in getting NMIMS

For the previous year  the cut off for waitlist was 169, with sectional shorts around 96 in Verbal, 144 in Logical, and 120 in QA. A score >210 will give you great chances of getting a waitlist, >215 is certainly taken shots at waitlist.  You have great score, however just the NMAT score isn't sufficient. Confirmation depends on different components which are your Work-ex, Grades in tenth, twelfth and Graduation, CD, and PI. NMAT score weighs just 45% of the all-out score.

Unfortunately, there is no assurance of verifying the admission. Even if you are a topper at there is no guarantee of the call, if you don't perform well in CD and PI.

Refer this Careers360 link below for more details on NMAT's previous year cut-off, expected NMAT cut off 2021, factors affecting NMAT Cutoff 2021.
