I have scored 280 marks in NEET 2018 ....Should i drop a year for NEET study or not?????
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
As you know that this is not a decent score, with this score you have less chances under All India Quota seats & state quota seats. But you can try for the private colleges & deemed universities also.
You can use NEET UG college Predictor tool to know your chances.

If you are targeting only the Government colleges & have confidence that you can do better next time then you can go for it. It depends on your capability.
Good Luck!
You can't get any govt. medical college with this rank but private colleges can offer you the same, if you want to gte admission in a private college, you shall go ahead otherwise, dropping a year would be a better choice.
