i have scored 365 marks in neet pg 2020 which is just 1 mark below the cut off score will there be reduction in cut off score this year .. ??

Waasim, that is quite unfortunate that you missed qualifying in just 1 mark. Having said that if the no.of seats that are lying vacant after the counselling are more, the Medical Council of India consults the Ministry of Family and Welfare and reduce the cut offs so as to fill in the seats. But the catch here is that the seats should lie vacant. In 2019, the cut offs were reduced for BDS and it also happened for NEET PG. So the probabilities are there.

Hello dear student,

I hope you are doing well. You will always find increment in cut off marks and never decrement. Every year competition is increasing. But it's totally unpredictable. While I would suggest you to aim for higher marks and try to obtain marks like that only . Getting cut off score don't help as you need to get marks in merit so that you can grab a government seat in government medical college. I hope this was helpful
