Dear Sir / Ma'm, with this score, you cannot really expect a government medical college if you are a general category student. However, you do have some chances if you belong to any reserved category. However, it would be appreciated if you state you category so that we can give you a detailed answer.

Considaering you as a genral category candidate you cannot get the seat in the govt. medical or detal college in West bengal. The cutoff marks for the West Bengal for the govt. medical college were 479 with the rank 29949 in Maldah Medical College, and the marks for the govt. dental college were 462 with the rank 37985 in Burdwan Dental college, Rajbati. So it would be quite difficult for you to get into the govt. college but you can try upto the last round of the counselling for getting the seat. Also refer the link below to know more about the cutoff marks for the west bengal medical and dental colleges.

Hello.

Good to hear from you. As per the previous years' trends in the cut-off, it can be said that you have secured good marks. As most of the colleges in West-Bengal have a cut-off close to 400-650, your mark might be able to land you in a Govt. college. But, you can try for private colleges as well. For more details regarding cut-off of the colleges check this: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal
