The total number of seats is 4256 in MBBS and 2572 in BDS . By considering previous year cut off of state list, there is a good chance of your getting a good college. But this time the cut off is also high,so there may be some on and off. But you can surely apply for the counselling process.

Last year the closing rank for MBBS governemnt seat was around 35000.
So your chances are less.
There will be slight variations this year based on the no of applicants, no of seats available etc.
