NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Dear Sir/ Ma'm, KGMU, Lucknow had a cutoff of 589 for general students , 575 for OBC category students, 454 for Scheduled Caste category students and 303 for Scheduled Tribe students in the 85% state quota counselling for the year 2018. If you are any reserved category student you can easily get the seat, but if you are a general category student, you might have to wait for subsequent rounds of counselling.
Greetings, your score of 565 is absolutely splendid in a prestigious exam as NEET 2019. Now coming to your question.
Well, it would be really for you to get KGMU, Lucknow unless and untill you have a caste certificate.
Let's look at the stats of 2018.
2018 :
AIQ Cutoff Marks : 589
State Quota Cutoff Marks : 572
So, you can clearly see that both the scores are above your particular score of 565.
Added to that is the fact,
1. Easier level of paper
2. Huge jump in the number of Examinees.
Both these factors turn our predicttion towards the statement that the cutoff would be increasing this year even if slightly.
This would make your selection in KGMU tough.
However, if you apply through any other College of UP, you have a great chance of making the cut.
Hope this helps.
All the Best !
