I have scored 64 in physics,71 in biology, 48 in chemistry and 64 in English in this year from state board. My total percentage is 63.04% and I'm from a general category. I want to know can i give neet 2022 exam and get a government medical college.Please sir/mam anyone plz guide me from this doubt

According to the marks mentioned by you in the question your aggregate % for PCB comes out to be 61% and as you belongs to General category so the minimum requirement is 50%, hence according to the aggregate percentage criteria you are eligible for NEET 2022 but there are some other criteria which needs to be fulfilled :

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it. ( You fulfil this )

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

Now for government colleges you have to score good marks in NEET 2022 like if you are seeking admission through AIQ counselling then you should not set your target less than 620 marks at least and if through state quota then it depends upon your state but still you should try to achieve minimum 580+ marks in NEET 2022 for good government colleges for MBBS even through state quota.
