Hey Janvi,

Congratulations on scoring well In 12th. Regarding DU. If you have some sought of reservation then only there will be slight chance of getting admission in DU. Or of you have ECA or sports quota.

But if your top 4 is more then 86-88% you will have chance of getting admission in DU. So calculate your top 4.

Best Of Luck

Hello janvi !

Delhi University is one of the most prestigious university in India and getting admission in Delhi University is also a dream for number of students so you can understand the competition level for getting admission in Delhi University as the admission is based on merit list prepared by different colleges under Delhi University

As you have mentioned that you have got 82% in class 12th but I would like to tell you that admission in Delhi University is based on  the best 4 subjects percentage  including ( one language subject) and three main subjects

As you have not mentioned your category so if we assume you as a general category student then there are very less chances of getting admission in any college of North Campus but you can expect your admission in off campus colleges like keshav mahavidhalya ,shaheed bhagat Singh college,DCAC etc

But if you are from other category then and you might get admission in south campus also depending upon the college

Best of luck

Hope I have resolved your query

Hi Janvi,

General category cutoffs are usually closed at 90%. If you don't have maths in your best four you might suffer deduction of 25%. So it'xuite Difficult to get admission at this percentage.

Though you can apply for ECA (extra curricular activities) category. For next. Year in various college. If you get selected you'll get relaxation of 1015% in your Marks and get admission. Though you'll also require some certificates that you have participated in these Activities during school. Certificate carries marks. If you don't you still can try for singing, dancing, and drama/theater. You can also apply through sports quota. They also give relaxation provided you have to devote time to these activities if you get selected.

Good luck.

Hey,

if you are a general category student your chances if getting in Delhi University is very less. In most of the colleges the cut offs are more than 90% but you can wait for the last cut offs as there are some girls colleges whose cut offs goes very low in the later cut offs and you might get in there.
