I have scored 93.6% in 12th with 41 marks in PU LLB Entrance exam (5 year) Scope of admission in UILS, chandigarh?
Hello Aspirant...
Admission to Panjab University, Chandigarh for the BA/BCOM LLB programme is based on both your 12th grade results and an admission exam.
Both scores are given a 50 percent weighting.
As a result, both your board percentage and your entrance exam score are equally important.
Given that the most of you have already received your results, a high score in it will give you a significant advantage.
The Chandigarh campus has 120 seats (BA and BCOM) while the regional centres have 60 seats apiece.
So, if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combining both scores is between 150 and 180 for the Chandigarh campus, you'll have a good chance in the first round of counselling.
Though the cutoff varies from year to year depending on the difficulty of the paper and the level of competition, only a reasonable estimate of the marks can be established.
So, if your board score was 93 and your entrance score was 41, your total score will be roughly 62. You appear to have less chances on campus in Chandigarh and more in regional centres.
However, after the rank in the combined merit list is released, a more precise prediction can be formed.
Best wishes
I hope this information helps.
