I have scored about 160 in Karnataka NTSE stage 1, will this enable me to qualify for NTSE stage 2?

Even I had appeared for NTSE 1 this year in Karnataka...my friends and I found it quite hard. Institutes predict it to be around 140 so you have high chances of qualifications

Btw most of the ppl I know including me are scoring in the range 140-150.

I felt that the paper(sat) was quite hard compared to last year.

Hello,
According to your marks, you might have the chances to qualify for stage 2. However, the cutoff vary every year depending on various factors and this year cutoff is expected to show much change due to change in the exam pattern.  You can go through the link below to check the previous year cutoff for reference

Good Luck!
