First of All, Jee Advanced does not have a fixed mark distribution.

They might give negative marks for wrong attempts for some parts and none for other parts.

So read the questions before attempting them.



How to answer the questions:

Usually there will be 2-3 paragraph questions with 4-5 questions in each paragraph in each subject.

These kind of questions are easy to score if you are strong in that topic.

So pick out the paragraph questions in the topics you are strong at and solve them first.

For the other paragraph questions, dont even think about attempting it , it takes up lot of your time if you dont have a solid thoery on that part.



Try to read as much organic chemistry and maths as you can as the questions are more diresct in these parts than the other subjects.



Physics is and will be the toughest subject in the advanced paper so dont try to finish off maths and chem first but make sure you attend atleast 40% of the physics questions before the end of the examination due to pass percentage criterion.
