I have secured 226 marks in NEET 2020 and I belong to SC Category and Karnataka state Domicile,so can I get bds or bams seats in Karnataka,if yes which colleges (govt/pvt/demeed) should I apply?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
As per your NEET marks which is 226 your predicted AIR rank would be 453453 - 523603. Now, 226 score is a decent score for a SC category student but not enough to grab seats in top MBBS colleges. As per previous year's cutoff you won't have much of chance to get in govt medical college even with your category rank.
Your best chance is to apply for the 85% state counseling but to get seats in MBBS college would be really tough for you. You have a much higher chance to get BDS in private colleges through Karnataka counseling . Also you can get seats in MBBS college by approaching through direct admission but you must appear for the counseling.

Hello Aspirant,
According to the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 390772-415591. So on such marks and category you have low chances of getting any of the private colleges for BDS under state quota in Karnataka according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 264 for government BDS seat in Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore under Home state quota for SC category. But yes for private seats the cut-off is comparatively lower so you might get seat under private quota or still if you did not get seat then you can go for direct admission but the condition is that you must have appeared in counselling but unable to secure the seat.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-
