I have secured 89% in 12 . I want to pursue for BA (economics). Will I be able to get du college ? And I belongs to ews category

Hello Mitali,

The answer for your question is yes you may get a du college as if you want to come in South campus which has a very good amount of colleges and which provide a good environment for studying also. Since you belong to ews category so the chances are that you can get. As the first cutoff would be out till 20th June I would suggest you to kindly wait till then.

DU has not released its cutoff for EWS category yet. Even the option is not clear. So, it is very tough to say how much off in percentage you will get during admissions. However, at 89%, a general student would not secure a seat in DU B.A. Economics Honors, as the cutoff for various colleges end at about 92-93%. Since you are from EwS category, you might have a chance but it can not be said accurately as this is the first time this quota has been implemented. DU has reserved 10% of its seat for EwS candidates and it should really help students like you. Keep checking for the cutoffs aas they are going to be released in a few weeks only.
