Hello

It would be difficult to calculate the state rank. According to your percentile, you may have  chances to get a seat in NIT Calicut. Use the JEE Main College Predictor tool to check your college admission chances on the basis of your percentile score, category, home state etc...And also cut-off marks for the NIT calicut can be found in the below link.,

Hello Aspirant,

First of all congrats for getting good percentile. Even though you are in kerala and you are having home state quota .Your percentile is not enough to get into NIT calicut. Your approximate rank is:(100-your percentile)*869010/100

So your rank is approximately 82,903. Since you are Obc .Your category rank will ne less than 82,903 but getting into NIT calicut you need rank less than 11000 in obc category  considering last years cutoff  for any branch. If you want particularly CSE or ECE you have to get less than 1000 in obc category.Prepare well for next attempt. Try getting good percentile. All the very best.

Your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 82903. Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100.

With this rank, it might be difficult for NIT of your Home State even with OBC reservation. You might be able to get a good college through JOSAA. But if you want to appear for JEE Advanced, you qualify based on your percentile because the expected qualifying percentile is 85 and above. But if you want to study in NIT, you may have to appear in April session.
