Hello,
First of all, BHU conducts PET for admission to MSc Physics/MSc(Tech) Geophysics which is conducted for a duration of 120 minutes duration carrying 360 marks with MCQs based on graduate level of the concerned subject. However for M. Sc. (Tech.), Geophysics the questions will be from Physics and Mathematics (in equal proportions) of graduate level.
Syllabus for MSc Forensic Science in BHU;-
Entrance test is conductd for a duration of 120 minutes for 360 marks in MCQs format comprising two sections,namely
Section A with 60 MCQs from General Sciences at 10+2 level to test the knowledge of the candidates in fundamentals and 20 MCQs of general nature to test their analytical ability, reasoning and logical skills. And Section B which have four sub-sections namely, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with 40 MCQs of graduate level in each section. The candidate has to select only one of the four sub-section of Section B for answering questions.
Coming to MSc Physics Syllabus for JNU, it consists of topics such as Mathematical Methods,Mechanics and General Properties of Matter,Oscillations, Waves and Optics,Electromagnetism,Thermal and Statistical Physics,Solid State Physics, Devices and Electronics,Modern Physics:
