I have studied 5th class to 12th class (CBSE BOARD) in bangalore. 1. I studied in CBSE Board in Bangalore Karnataka. Does my BOARD make any difference my local status 2. I studied Kannada as a language only in academic year in class 5th. So I still have to write Kannada eligiblity test for KCET.

Hi Aspirant,
First of all let me tell you board doesn't depend at all.But the school from where you have studied must be within state of Karnataka.The criteria for the eligibility in KCET exam is that the candidates must have passed their class 12 exam or equivalent exams from any boards.Candidates must have physics, mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry/, Biology etc.
Since you have studied in the educational institutions for a minimum of 7 years so there is no problem for admission in government seats.The another criteria states that the candidates should have passed 11th and 12th from school within state of Karnataka.

Apart from the 7 year study in Karnataka, Since I did not studied KANNADA as language... Do I have to take Kannada language test separately? For KCET to get waitage/mandatory as a local candidate...

if you have studied in kannada medium from class 1to 10 in some other state then it is not necessary to write kannada language test .If not you have to take language test.
Perhaps this exam is for locals only .if you are keenly interested then give COMEDK exam.it will help you a lot.
