If youre really interested and determined as well as confident of securing a seat in one of the NITs or IITs after Cracking JEE Main/Advanced respectively, take a drop. You particularly have an Advantage being the Pandemic Generation, with the Next JEE Mains for 2022 Cohort scheduled just 5 months away in January End/February First Half tentatively. Just remember, dont lose focus and youre destined to success.
However, incase youre interested in something like CSE or IT, are financially strong and youre able to secure a seat this year itself in some of the Top Private Universities like SRM, VIT, Manipal, KIIT or be it Colleges in Bangalore like BMSCE, RVCE, BIT, MSRIT and many others good for CSE even if they are State Engineering Colleges, I would advise you against dropping. These Colleges are quite Good and secondly, there is no guarantee you'll secure a Rank Good Enough Next Year for CSE at IIT or NITs.
Dear applicant, JEE Advanced is one of the most remarkable exams of your life. So it requires your 100 percent dedication and hard work, it's difficult to focus equally on both boards and JEE Advanced. Even if you have gathered profound knowledge in each of the subjects then also JEE Advanced requires some basic MCQ solving skills and strategies. So to crack it most successfully it's better if you prepare yourself more and then sit for the exams.
Good luck!!!
