I have submitted my gate application form. but i want to change my category from general to general-EWS. Will i be able to do so and what are tentative dates for correction?

I think they will provide the correction link in the mid October or 1st week of November.
I am not so sure about changing your category because this is the first time GATE is considering EWS category because it was announced last year after the filling of the 2019 form.
