Hello student yes you can apply for BITSAT if you've take an year drop after class 12 as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.
The application form for BITSAT starts from 11 January 2020 and shall remain open till 31st March 2020.

Hello Aspirant,

A candidate can give BITSAT 2 times in his/her lifetime. First is when you're appearing in 12th standard and next is when you've qualified 12th standard.

Since you only have 1 year gap you can give BITSAT exam. However you won't be able to give it next year.
