Hi aspirant,

Basically after the admission procedure is completed, you are officially a student of the college.

Generally when a student leaves the college, he/she must pay the bod and then leave because-

You have already filled the seat. This means you are a student now.

You have already taken the seat and If you leave it now, no one else can be replaced and admitted in your place.

So, certainly you will be needed to pay the bond.

Government colleges are very hard for a student to get, and generally bond is taken as a penalty to leave the government seat as some other eligible candidate might have got your seat.

Ultimately the seat is wasted and vacant for the next 5.5 years.
