Hello!I am student of applied psychology. I want to tell you that you can take psychology after 12th. What more important is that you should get good marks to get good college. Though if you are looking for psychology and as you said that you are PCB student, i suggest you to go for psychiatrist. Because it is necessary to have science in 12th class for psychiatrist.Another option which you have is you can go for B. A hons Applied Psychology or B. A hons. Let me tell you difference between applied and basic psychology.Applied psychology is for practical work as you have more practicals than theory in Applied psychology whreas, in basic psychology you study as research more. Here, you will be trained as researcher.Some of the good stream in psychology are:Clinical psychologistChild psychologistCriminal psychologistSocial psychologistSocial workerBehavioristClinical neurologist and many more.. If we talk about college then best college in all over India for psychology is Lady shri ram college of Delhi University but if you want to do Applied psychology then gargi college of Delhi University is good as i am saying this by my own experience. Another colleges Jamia milia islamia University  is also well known for psychology You can also go in amity university. See these are some colleges which are actually good for psychology. I hope you have got clear about psychology because psychology is examine behavior, experience and mental process of an organism. Good luck!
