Hello,

If you had biology as an additional subject in class 12th, then you are eligible to appear in NEET exam, biology is allowed as an additional subject in NEET exam, the minimum qualification required to appear in NEET exam is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 where Physics, Chemistry and Biology are mandatory subjects.

Hope this helps, all the best.

Yes, you are eligible for NEET Examination.

However I would suggest you to give time and prepare for a year, before you take the Exam. There are students who after securing 100 in Biology, fail to perform in NEET and secure a seat in MBBS at any Government or State Medical Institute. NEET is an exam where besides practice and proper revision, a proper test taking strategy is required besides strategic selection of study material.

Dear student,

Yes, you are eligible to give neet 2021. Even if your subject is biology as optional then also you can give this exam. Because in neet, biology must be one of your subjects and you must have passed in it.
Also you must pass all your subjects and pass your class 12th board with an aggregate of more than 50% ( for general candidates ).

Ans as your aggregate is 82%, so you are eligible to give neet 2021.

So, you can easily fill up the neet registration form, when it comes.

Hi

What's your aggregate marks or percentage in PCB i. e physics chemistry and Biology? you have just mentioned your overall class 12th board percentage as 82 % but your overall percentage is not considered for Neet eligibility criteria only your PCB the aggregate is considered.

Yes, Biology as an additional subject or optional subject in class 12th board examination is accepted for Neet examination and you are eligible for Neet examination provided

you must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category.

Also,
Minimum age limit is 17 years old ,so  to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by  31st  December 2021.

So, if you fulfill these criteria then you are definitely eligible for Neet examination and there will be no problem due to Biology as an optional subject, so don't worry.
