As long as it follows certain rules then you might have no problem. There are no restriction on size or type of tattoo has been specified. Only small innocuous tattoos, that are not prejudicial to good order and military discipline are permitted e.g. religious symbols or names of near and dear ones etc. However, tattoos that are indecent, sexist or racist are not permitted. So if you have some kind of indecent tattoo then you will not be allowed in the army. If the tattoo is a decent one and small then you will have no problem.
