i have tried to find the difference b/w conputer science engg and information science engg..but i couldn't..but most of the colleges in karnataka offers comp science to them with higher ranking in ug kcet , but a little lower ranking for information science engg in ug kcet. why? And which is better?

The major difference between the two is.
Placement wise, the students of both the branches sits together, and the package offered is also almost same.
The major difference between the two is.
- Computer science engineering is based on software as well as hardware knowledge.
- And IT/Information Science and Engineering deals with software development and research.It consists of topics of topics related to Information management, Information security, Software engineering, Computer Science, web scripting etc.
- IT/ISE is a part of CSE.
Placement wise, the students of both the branches sits together, and the package offered is also almost same.
