Dear Aspirant,
The very first thing you should is solve a previous year paper in the 3 hours time period without any breaks or cheating. Do not try to cheat in any way, give it as though it was really your exam. If you feel like you're done in 2 hours, in the remaining one hour try to solve the questions you have any idea about.
After this exercise, evaluate your result and find out and if it is near 50 or above 50, then you can definitely clear the exam. If the score is above 100 then you might end up in a very decent college.
However, if your score is below 50 this means that your basics are almost zero and here the chances of you qualifying the exam are quite low.
So if you find yourself in the last category, you should prepare for mains 2021. But if you are in the first two categories, then you should check out the syllabus, find out your strong areas and then work on them religiously. If all goes well you might end up getting into a very good college.
