I have two year gap between 12 and admission in engineering so what would be affected my placement
Gap does effect placements but not always....Only few companies has strict rules regarding number of years...What matters the most is your skill & passion for work.
Further,to be on safe side, you should have a very strong reason ready to justify your gap if it is asked in the interview.
Hi prince,
It depends on the company you are applying to some companies allowed but some don't.
so before applying just read their rules.
Thanks
Nothing much is affected but some companies do look over the age criteria too. So look out for those who don't have that criteria problem
All the best
Sometimes it can affect your placement as some of the companies have rules that they won't allow droppers ro sit for placements. But at the same time these companies are very few.
Otherwise if your academic background is excellent and if you have talent then no one can stop you from getting a job in good company.
Good luck.
There will be no effect of this on your placements but you have to answer the interviewers with a convincable answer
Nevertheless most of the companies do not bother about these things and look only for the suitable candidate based on the merit ,so if you are talented enough and your grades are sufficiently nice then you will definitely get placed.
Thanks
Hi Prince,
Companies that visit campuses for placement offers look forward to hiring candidates so that in the long run they're benifitted from them.
If you are in a reputed college having a 2 year gap wouldn't affect your placement in anyway if you are extremely talented and passionate about your stream and what you do. Just focus on making yourself the best among your classmates, placements and oppotunities would follow.
Hi Prince,
It depends on the Company coming to your college. Few companies will have some criteria like, 'Number of years Gap' etc. Even if a company is not having any criteria, you shouldn't relax as they will ask you question regarding that during your interview. You should have a very solid answer for that which validates your gap.
