Hi there,

Nothing to worry about it NC-OBC certificate is for your category verification only. You will be considered under OBC category not General Category.

But the worst part that you did is that you did everything without undertaking. For that you can contact the conducting body responsible for holding the exams.

I attempted CAT in 2020 and uploaded old OBC-NC certificate. For interviews I got CAT format certificate signed by magistrate in JAN 21. For final admission what all documents other than this certificate will be needed for verification.
