If your form has been successfully submitted, then you would have received a confirmation email or message or both on your registered email ID and registered mobile number respectively. Moreover, mak e sure that you have uploaded your documents in the proper format and size mentioned on the official website because error in this may cause an issue for you.

Dear Reshma, you haven't mentioned which entrance exam are you enquiring about. However, if you haven't been notified to upload the scanned image of your photo inspite of not following the instructions, you are good to go. Only those candidates who have received notifications asking to upload the scanned images need to upload them accordingly.
