Hello Prabhat,

There is no particular stream for engineering in maths only. Along with that you have to study many subject and also physics. But yes, maths is available for all the branches till 4th semester. So you can definitely get that in any branch you will take admission. But you can not fixed one subject for the whole life, as in engineering you have to study more than 40 subject in your 4 years.

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

Almost all the branches of engineering require maths there can't be any branch in which mathematics is not involved be it computer science,be it electronics or be it civil engineering every stream has the necessity of maths in it.

So,instead of maths make some other criteria of selection of stream. Go for the stream which you think or you have got an interest in.

If you are good in coding, then go for Computer Science or IT.

If you have interest in circuits then go for Electricals or Electronics.

If you have interest in designing and field work then go for automobile engineering, mechanical or civil engineering.

Choose your stream according to your interest.

Thank You & All the best!

Actually there isnot too much use of what you studied in 12th.But you need the basic obivously. It depends on you which part of the math do you like most.Because you will get different kind of math in different branch. In CS/IT you will come across with logical math only .From EE to Civil you will get touch in calculas type math.

Hello,

Its good that you like mathematics because almost all branches has mathematics but some branches have maths there main part so you can choose any one of these

1. Mechanical engineering

2. Electrical and electronics engineering

3. Electronics and Instrumentation engineering

4. Computer science engineering

5. Information technology

These branches mostly used algebra or numerical methods. So these will be better for you. Now it's up to you which branch will interests you more.

Hope this will be helpful.
