Below are the students who are eligible
-Candidate who got seat (IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTI) in JoSAA rounds and want to upgrade current seat within or across Institutes. His/her current allotted seat will remain safe and will get de-allotted (cancelled) only in the case of allotment to a higher preferred choice. In case a candidate doesnt participate in the Special Round, this seat will be considered as FREEZED .
-Candidate who got a seat allotted in JoSAA rounds and paid the Seat Acceptance Fee but didnt report at RC or Seat got cancelled at RC or Withdrew the allotted seat.
-Candidates who have not registered in JoSAA till now but are eligible as per their JEE(Main) 2017 Rank will also be eligible for participating in the Special Round for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs.
-Candidates who did not get any seat in JoSAA counseling, will be eligible for special round.
