Admissions to Medical Colleges in Karnataka have got nothing to do with KCET. Once NEET results have been announced and the merit list has been declared, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will release online applications for registration process for State Counselling. You have to register and participate in the Counselling process. So even if you not applied for KCET and you want to take admission in a Medical College in Karnataka, you are still fine.
