see unless you get the score which is same or above the cutoff score, you can not take admission in gate qualified quota. however for various institute admission is based on state wise entrance test or gate score in m.tech courses. however you may apply for mhtcet m.tech counselling to admission to m.tech colleges of maharastra, eligibility criteria is as follows:
Candidates must have completed b.tech course or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university an aggregate of 50% marks or above applicable for general category , for reserved category candidates marks criteria is 45%.
Applicants appearing for m.tech counselling under DTE maharastra should acquire a non zero positive score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) organised by the Indian Institute of Technology.
